Lincoln County Emergency Management Shelter Plan

Lincoln County Emergency Management has an emergency preparedness plan which includes the opening of shelters if certain conditions are met including major power outages and infrastructure failures.  Emergency Management is assessing the situation of the storm hour by hour along with County Management. If a decision is made to open shelters,  the primary site will be Lincolnton High School. If a decision is made to activate, a notification will be posted on the County website and social media sites. A phone number dedicated to shelter questions will also be activated and included in the communication. Please do not call 911 for shelter questions.
