(LINCOLN COUNTY) At 3:00 pm Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, the Lincoln County Health Director has lifted the water activity advisory originally issued for a sewage spill in a tributary of Mundy Creek.
On June 27th, approximately 800 gallons of untreated sewage may have leaked into a tributary of Mundy Creek between Sherwood Lane and Denver Industrial Park Road in Denver, North Carolina. The water activity advisory signs have been removed.
