Banned From Landfill Disposal

All materials that are banned from landfill disposal are able to be recycled throughout Lincoln County through the Lincoln County Solid Waste Department to ensure they are diverted from the Landfill.

The following materials are currently banned from disposal in North Carolina Landfills:

ABC Beverage Containers
Fluorescent Bulbs
Plastic Bottles
Aluminum Cans
Glass
Used Motor Oil
Antifreeze
Lead-Acid Batteries
Whole Scrap Tires
Appliances
Oil Filters
Yard Trash Waste
Cardboard
Oyster Shells
Electronics
Pallets
